The Literary Magazine

The Literary Magazine consists of monthly issues posted to this website compiled into a collection at the end of the semester. Collections will be available both digitally and in physical copies. All Fairleigh Dickinson University students at both the Florham and Metro campus are welcome, and encouraged, to submit their original written work or artistic pieces for publication consideration. Students can submit whether they are a member of the club or not. We look forward to reviewing your submissions! 

About Cygnus

Cygnus Literary Magazine and Creative Writing Club was founded in November 2022 and officially kicked off in February of 2023. Separated into a magazine portion and a club portion, Cygnus explores all aspects of the writing process. Our mission is to provide a space for student writers to explore their craft, interact with other writers, and showcase their work. The Club

Club meetings will take place weekly at the Florham campus on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00 in the Doerfler Room in the Monninger Center. Meeting times and locations are subject to change on a semesterly basis. Club meetings consist of writing exercises, prompts, workshops, event planning, and an opportunity to connect with peers who share a similar passion. Club events and fundraisers will be active throughout the semester, be sure to stop by, support, and have fun!
